Thank you Minnesota!
I want to thank Minnesotans for their renewed support of my leadership as Minnesota State Auditor, and my vision of making Minnesota a national leader again in excellent and efficient government.
I am particularly honored by this decisive victory as a Democrat in the strongest Republican year in seven decades, in a race against a former Republican incumbent, with no Independence Party candidate splitting the Republican vote, and with two minor party candidates taking votes on the left.
What this says is that Minnesotans still value excellence, and they don't want leaders who simply bash government - they want leaders who get the job done and work to make government better again, and that's exactly what I intend to do.
